Burn assistants, overseen by certified burn bosses, play a valuable role in the completion of the prescribed burns. Assistants are required to have complete online training and participate in an in-person field test, prior to beginning work.
If you are interested in becoming a prescribed burn assistant, you can complete the online training here. After you complete the training, contact us to schedule a field training. We look forward to welcoming you to the program.
